Board for Management: The first meeting of the planning committee met at Concordia University Wisconsin on May 30, 2008 with the Articles of Incorporation filed in Illinois on August 21, 2009. The present Board for Management includes parish nurses and others who are members of various Lutheran denominations in the global community. Members of the board include persons who provide parish nurse education through programs in Lutheran colleges and universities, persons who are active in parish nursing in varied settings, and those who are interested in parish nursing. The Board for Management meets quarterly with on-site and on-line attendance. Anyone having items or concerns that they would like to share with the Board for Management should notify the chairperson. Although only board members have a vote visitors are welcome.
